Time.

Every Monday, we get together to have our Family Home Evening. If you ask me it was very productive. Faoa gave a lesson on Sacrifice, the message was pretty clear to me. I haven't sacrificed enough for the Lord. I'm working on that, I promise. Leata prepared a game of Jeopardy, LDS Edition. That was oober fun & made me realize that:

1. I need to read my scriptures.
2. I need to learn more about church history.
Jeopardy, LDS Edition

There's always apart of our FHE that I used to dread when I was younger, and that was discussion time. I felt like & I still feel like it's a time where everyone either shares the bare minimum just to get their turn over, or it's an opportunity for my parents (your grandparents) to tell us everything that's wrong with us haha. Pretty funny huh? I've come to realize that in the most bizarre way, our Family Discussion brought us closer together & for that I'm grateful.

You want to know something? It's these little things that bring our family close to one another. Despite the tension & awkwardness, we all leave our busy little lives to come together to spend T I M E with one another & that's something no one has enough money to buy.

There's always a feeling of melancholy whenever you attend a funeral, even if you're not related to them. Your mommy & I attended a funeral for your cousin Kelise. You'll learn more about it whenever your parents are ready to explain it to you.

My philosophy on death is that Heavenly Father doesn't take away those we love, instead he calls them back to Him because He needs them more than we do. Does that make any sense? I strongly believe that trials only strengthen our faith in Heavenly Father & brings us closer to Him.
